Today we visited Prior Park just outside of Bath. The park is a "landscape" park that makes no clear distinction between the gardens and the surrounding growth. The views range from broad vistas to dark grottoes.
It was a long, steep hike up the hill to the park. We covered 6 miles from the hotel and back.
