Today the Evergreen Hiking Club was comprised by only two dedicated members, Jim and myself (Mary). Jim and I started out from Anti-Aircraft Peak Trailhead and down Shangri La Trail. We followed the trail downward to its conclusion and as it turned we could see a sweeping view of houses on east Issaquah and beyond. The trail narrowed surprisingly and even though we were now on Surprise Creek Trail we wondered if we had inadvertently spun off. Continuing on the trail which continually diminished we eventually came to a sign post identifying our trail. Now it was time to work back up the long hillside benefiting from a good cardio workout and back to the car. The hike took approximately 2 hours.
